Best Acne Treatments
As a former acne sufferer, I understand the pain that you're going through. I know
exactly why you're searching for the best acne treatments that will work right now.
You're tired of inspecting your face for zits before you talk to that cute guy/girl.
You're tired of piling on makeup before you leave the house. You're tired of the embarrassment
and discomfort that inevitably comes with a face full of pimples.
The truth is that there is no single "magic" cream that's going to take care of all your acne problems. The only way to permanently cure acne is to make a few simple changes to your lifestyle and start taking
care of your body.
However, there are some little skin tricks I used to improve the look of my acne.
Here are my best acne treatments that I actually relied on to keep me looking decent:
- The aloe rub: Find the purest aloe gel you can find. You can find the 100% pure stuff online, and products that are about 99% pure aloe at health food
stores. Rub about a teaspoon of aloe on a clean face and gently rub and massage it into
your skin. Let it soak into your skin to work its magic. With regular use you'll have much clearer and smoother skin, but it may be a little drying so use
moisturizer.
- Aloe is also great for spot
treating individual pimples. Take a cotton swab and clean each pimple with witch
hazel. Then apply just a dot of aloe, and leave your skin to heal itself. If it's a small to medium size pimple, check the mirror and hour later. They usually shrink quite a bit with this treatment.
- The toxin sucking clay mask: Use pascalite or bentonite clay after cleansing and steaming your face. These clays attract toxins and impurities, which means that those nasties will leave your
skin. Mix the clay with water to form a thick paste and apply a heavy layer to your
face. Leave it on as long as possible - until it dries if you have the
patience. When rinsing it off, massage your skin with your fingertips to further eliminate
toxins.
- When your skin is looking especially bad and you need a quick fix, try this recipe. ½ tsp emu oil, ½ tsp pure aloe, and 1 drop tea tree oil.
Mix these ingredients together and apply it to clean skin. Drink a lot of water and make
sure you get 8 hours of sleep (on a clean pillowcase). Also drink 2 cups of spearmint or
peppermint tea. Your skin should look at least 30% better by the next morning.
- Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar: If you don't have any open pimples, a thin layer of apple cider vinegar before bed will
make your skin gorgeous. It only takes a few drops to cover your entire face. Mix with emu oil for best results. Although this works
great externally for people without open pimples, it works even better internally – on all skin types, no matter how severe your acne
is. It doesn't taste good, but it gives you clear skin with a healthy glow.
You can use some of my best acne treatments in conjunction with each other or
try one remedy at a time. Just make sure you're not over-doing it, because you wouldn't want to
aggravate your skin when it's already broken out. I encourage you to try these natural acne
treatments instead of buying those chemical filled acne creams at the drugstore. I think you'll
be pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of these alternative remedies.
